So, the past couple weeks have been quite the adventure. I've got some excellent new material for the blog. We're talking mosh pit accidents and crazy sex injuries and run-ins with the authorities kinds of scars.
Once I get ahold of a working camera, I will begin uploading.
And as always, if you or anyone you know of have burly scars you'd like to contribute, I would be extremely grateful. You can send them via the facebook page...

or through email...

Take care of yourselves...actually, don't. Get out in the world, live life, take risks, and then send me the results. Because remember, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stranger.

So, I set up a facebook page in order to get the word out a little more about my project. I've decided to keep going with it because I like the idea and it seemed people were still interested about it. Anyway, here it is...

Stretchmarks
Benji, Or Something Like That

"when i was 2 and a half my parents had this dog, and his name was...what was the dog's name? i can't remember...something like Benji. It was a mutt and it was my dad's favorite dog because it was the first dog he got. I was playing with the dog and my dad went to get a beer. He left me there for like ten minutes. I grabbed the dog's face and tried to give it a kiss, and it bit me. it tore off like half my face. my parents took me to the hospital and they said it was the worst thing ever because they had to watch the doctors tie down their 2-year-old daughter and sew up her face."

To Melanoma or Not To Melanoma"

"i have my surgery scar. my family has had a long history of skin cancer, so like three years ago, i got this mole on my ankle and the doctors thought it was melanoma, so i had to have it removed. not that exciting, but it did look pretty cool after i got it (pic related, it's a lot lighter now)"
